well i got little over 1 month down, 8 to go.. at least i'm a fobbit and will never go outside the wire, #### that shizzle. after taking a few air force plane rides to get to bagram though, rode in copter out here.. in the first month i've taken 2 trips in copter to a fob down south about 70 miles away, and another copter trip to another fob for a few days.. too much travelling in helicopters for my liking. as far as afghanistan goes, it's really not too bad at the fob i'm at... we'll eventually be closing our fobs and becoming more and more centralized, not sure how long we'll be out here.
i still say all you bastards need to play league of legends, even though my internet too shitty to play it out here.. i've been playin FATE, single player on crappy laptop ftw.. my character is ####in jesus. love league, that game is the nuts. got several army buddies into it over past couple years.. kyle victor plays it along with brandon roseman and his roommates.. it's a fun time.

: Ya, still nyc. almost two years here, weird.
: seems like a week. photo-assisting / working
: at hotel restaurant. killing time. back once
: to work on failed mayoral campaign in
: bloomington last summer. 9 months is a long
: while... hopefully now that everyone knows
: the u.s. is mostly leaving it will be
: slightly less ridiculous than before?
: --Cutting back instead of establishing
: remote outposts?
:
: day z looks pretty awesome, mostly for the
: social-dynamic... Either having to find
: bands of people wandering a vast sandbox map
: and fight them for their small amount of
: goods and resources or band together with
: them to do pretty much the exact same thing
: to others. nobody forced into teams like in
: most games, just momentary alliances. (kind
: of like sc1 before locked alliances made it
: a lot dumber).
