Walcott is an aching simpleton. Just watched MOTD there and he was talking through (in a painfully halting and thick way) McNeil’s good points and I’m sure I heard him say “he likes to make runs in behind which is what I always used to do”. Not for us you didn’t, you dead-eyed helmet.
Also said we’re going to need McNeil’s goals to stay up cos we “don’t get many goals” as a team. We’ve scored 7 in the last 4 games.
