But if you rewatch the home games, and look at the stats that doesn't add up. It shows that generally we are having about half of the possession (other than Brighton and Arsenal) and most of the time we are having almost double the shots and shots on target.
vs Man U we had 51% possession, 24 shots and 6 on target.
vs Brighton we basically let them have the ball, 20% possession, 10 shots and 4 on target
vs Luton 68% possession, 23 shots, 5 on target
vs Wolves 46%, 15 shots
vs Fulham 40%, 19 shots, 9 on target
The home form has been pretty good other than Arsenal really. Funnily enough, away the main one that stands out is Palace where we had 32% possession, 8 shots to their 13 and sneaked a late win from Gueye of all people.
The podcasters are banging on about how shit our home form is, but it really isn't. Over time these performances work their way to results. It's just the sample size is too small for that to happen and there is an element of luck where a keeper can have a blinder or a striker is not quite at form. The performances though have been good.
