I think people make too much of this these days. Gone are the days where a ball playing top side would turn up to a mud bath and not be able to play their home game. The home fans are not as intimidating as they used to be since it's a more diverse crowd. The players have routines, and loads of staff to help them. They stay at regular hotels the night before.
If you look at our home form this year, it's largely been the same types of performances as the away form. Other than a couple of games, where we haven't scored we've played as well as when we are away.
The top sides will not really deviate from their game whether they are home or away. Everton look as if we are doing that too. We aren't a top side but we have a method of playing that gets results.
