Hi,
I am looking for any information about the "Long" family name in and around Exeter, Devon.
Through my own research I have found Sammuel Long(1777-1862)/Eleanor Evans (1777-1850), son James Long (1813-1861)/ Elizabeth Wills (1816-1882).

James Long died quite young (at least by todays standards) but cannot find any info on how?

His wife Elizabeth most definitely came to Sydney, Australia, aboard the Ida. Left from Plymouth late 1863, arrived Sydney early 1864.
I have been to her gravesite on the clifftops of Sydney eastern suburbs.
I believe her son George Long (abt.1850-1928) was born in Devon, but cannot work out a year. Some of my sources put DOB as 1847, other 1853?
Would like to confirm his DOB.
For context, George is my 2nd great grand father.
