The death I found was 1775, not 1777, bad figure, and the baptism in 1777 recorded as 8th Sept but looks like 28th to me.
Given his age, and his parents length of marriage, when he was born, it is possible that his baptismal parents were his grandparents, and that would account for the difference in ages. Not uncommon for child to be baptised by adoptive parents as theirs.
He was in court in 1841 giving his aged as 65 which would give a birth of 1776 possibly.(not guilty)
marriage records for Orlando and Jane would not give the details re occupation, fathers name etc,that only came in later.
