The 4 armchairs are a different matter. When Louis Napoleon furnished his Royal Palace in Amsterdam all rooms had wood(veneer) furniture. Only the Throneroom had a gilded throne and two chairs for the Queen and Crownprince. I could not match the armchairs with any sets i know of from Noordeinde Palace. 't Loo and Soestdijk as summerresidences did not contain any gilded chairs so im guessing they might have been from the Kneuterdijk Palace where Willem II and Anna Pavlovna lived from the time they were prince and princess of Orange or the chairs might have been part of Louis Napoleon's furniture in Huis ten Bosch Palace. I have not found a complete inventory about that period of the palace so don't know how the rooms were used or furnished.
