Is the homage also paid by life peers? If so, I would not think it unimaginable that all peers, regardless of sex, would participate in the Homage next time around.

Would that be too outrageous. Since I come from a country (Spain) where women could always inherit and hold titles, this banning of women is a bit perplexing, more so in this day and age.
