Charles, Nellie, I agree with you both. I can understand what The Prince of Wales is saying in terms of respect for all Faiths but he can't change the title itself. The ironic thing, of course, is that it was bestowed on Henry VIII by Leo X in 1521 for his defence of Sacramental Marriage and the Pope against the attacks of Luther!

I'm sure there has been an awful lot of discussion already on what will happen next time. It will have to include other Denominations and other Faiths, and something is going to have to be done to overhaul the Homage. This is the perfect excuse to press Westminster Hall back into service. But the Coronation is incredibly adaptable and has always reflected the circumstances of the day while being true to itself.

Nellie, the wording of the Oath (another bone of contention every time there is a Coronation) specifically refers to 'the Protestant Reformed Religion as Established by Law in England'. There is no question of bringing any other country into the equation.
