I think the conclusion we can draw about the personal crown in Tudor times was that the one ordered by Edward, for procession and banquet, was used, for the same purpose, by Mary and Elizabeth I. The two queens did not order crowns of their own for personal use it would seem. Economising?
I am coming to think there have been many many personal crowns. Possibly they were inherited within the family. Speculation, i am sorry.
