Took the words out of my mouth. I never remember WLS-AM sounding like METV-FM, even during their Rock40 days in the early 80s. Jingles, slick production and jocks abounded.

I still do not understand why people listen to a commercial laden outlet with no personalities when they can get the same thing w/o commercials online?
