Into the Groove never hit the Hot 100 as it was never released as a 7' single. It was the flip side to the 12" "Angel" reaching #1 on the Dance charts. It is not disputed that it is one of the biggest airplay and sales hits of the decade, even if not charting.

Z100 put Madonna on the map. Hot97/103.5 played every one of her tunes and more. Sure it wasn't "Justify My Love"?
