They can’t arbitrarily do this. It would take a vote of the people in the involved communities.
Should it happen? Yes! Villages like townships are antiquated forms of government. In my opinion it saves money. One mayor, one clerk, one council and reduced staff. Probably $100,000 if not more.
More people, more money from the state, better bonding and grant opportunities.
Mitchell would bring nothing to the table other than body count but the loop would be completed.
This conversation took place when I was a young pup just starting in my business. Won’t see it in my lifetime because of egos.
