Not so much in our county any longer Wally. The democrats once owned this area. When Nellie was in charge, you wouldn't think of a Republican rising to power. Now, you have a Republican in Nellie's old chair and a Republican in the Mayor's office in Edwardsville.
Times they are a changing.
Will we ever see Crook County or even Springfield go over? No, but Southern Illinois is getting tired of being overlooked.
