In my first election, I voted for Dole.

And your narrative is way off to the point of not having a clue of what 18 year olds even have to go through.

It was much easier in the 1950s and 60's to just walk up to the mill and get a job....or work part time and pay off in full tuition at SIUE while working part-time.

I'm not cutting the kids total slack...there are some who truly are clueless and I get it.

But the barriers to their success are much greater than yours ever had to be.

People can get up off their ass and work from dawk to dusk and dusk to dawn and still not be able to afford even to pay the rent and utilities.

YOu were fortunate to grow up when unions were strong and laborers were paid a day's pay for a day's work.

Yeah, NEWSFLASH, in this post-Reagan world, it doesn't work like that anymore. Now they're expected to do three days work in one day for a half day's pay.

Stop the generational warfare, it's a tired narrative and it is the farthest thing from the truth and it does no one any good...save maybe Trump..

But if you still have to go vote on Wednesday, November 4, then by all means, go and vote till your heart's content for the candidate that supports this false narrative.
