To the starry eyed, never worked a day in their life youngsters who will go to the polls and vote for Bernie or another crazy leftie.
Remember that you, at 18 years old are being promised, free college, free health care and better wages.
But let's look at reality. You're 18 now and either a freshman or junior in college. IF the Bern man gets elected, he won't be in charge until this time next year and of course most of you will have move into the next year of your collegiate career.
By the time the legislation is worked out and passed, you'll be walking across the stage with that Bachelor's degree in "Save the Whales". In short, you'll be paying for your own college as did I for me and my kids. If you're lucky enough to get a job, it won't pay enough for you to pay off that college debt. It won't be enough for you to afford that Porsche. You'll have bought the farm.
It's okay though. We all learn and the first lesson in politics is, "nothing is free" when it comes from Uncle Sam.
