Kids, especially in the older part of our community were exposed to the lead in the old battery dumping ground downtown.
I forget the name of the site but I remember it being on the news that people on Missouri Avenue were concerned about their yards.
I also remember the EPA doing some type of remediation process on yards down in those areas.
There may be some lead in the paint at schools but kids are more exposed at home I would guess.
