Does anyone remember...when the water was paid by the land owner and in effect, free to the tenant...well I do. I seems that the federal government considered "WATER" as a necessity to live, and a person could not live without "water".

I did think that this was the bases of this post...sorry for my quick judgment but, I have around a $35 water bill per month and on this particular month...it was...$400???that is right, 4 with two zeros behind it for 30 days usage, stating that in the final analyses, this water this water "must have went down the drain"???. WENT DOWN THE DRAIN MY BUCKET tho this water company did check out everything before coming to this theory, but this still left me with a $400 water bill to pay.

To make a long story short, I took this water bill to my attorney Phillip Theis (as Phillip told me one time Theis rimes with "rice" (and not The) and the American Water Company ignored this letter from attorney Theis.

Well to shorten a story even more, this American Water Company finally took this $400 amount off of my bill and deducted this amount from my next months bill...leaving me with a credit of x amount credited toward these future bills. N0 THIS IS NOT THE WAY I WANT THIS $400 RETURNED TO ME... I wrote back to the A.W.C...I want this amount returned to me in the same way I was forced to pay this amount. I WANT THIS MONEY RETURNED TO ME IN CASH...and to my surprise, the water company honored this request, for I did receive a check in the mail for this $400 less this paid in full bill.
