Interesting how on one hand you say that salaries should reflect what individuals are worth then now apparently reject the adding someone to the Government payroll that would be better for the community. Salaries should reflect the worth of the person in the position. I do not advocate relegating the mayor position to a ceremonial role and adding an even more highly-paid City Administrator. There are already too many do-nothing jobs in local government. I’m not interested in adding more. As for my vision we can see what visions the current administration has done for Granite City on a day by day basis. So, as I can see, your goal here is to support the current batch of politicians to the point of reversing your words at the drop of a pin. No any indication of any vision on your part, just axe-grinding. I’m not reversing anything, simply was attempting to draw a position or inspiring idea out of you; this is what you offered. Thank you for your past accusations and insults though because they are appreciated; after all someone that uses those tactics simply shows the validity of the original posts to others. You weren’t insulted anywhere in this post. You are free to take your ball and go home, though. Ta ta for now.
