I think Granite cities location hurts it somewhat. Hell, i think many of these mayors are part time mayors. I dont see how comparing one city to another solves anything really. No matter who the mayor is in Granite City is, he or she isnt going to turn GC into Edwardsville. They should worry about what they can do for the city they lead and forget whats happening up on the hill.
