David1962, so good to make your acquaintance also...and the thought that you lived in Pontoon is nice also.
I would hope to see other comments about Pontoon Beach also and the way it was way back then.
You should remember Bigg's Junk Yard also...and the fact that Pontoon Beach was not as little as everyone thinks. Pontoon also took in the north side of the lake (on both sides) of that community also. Do you remember a family that was the Polly's? Along with the Bigg's Phillis Polly is a friend of mine....and there was the Bennett's...along with the Phelps, the Millers, South's,Perkins and others too. It is good to see these old memories live again.
