Who remembers when Leroy's Market was A&J Market?

A&J stood for Andy and Joann (with no A on the end of Joanna) Bukovak (Book-a-vack) and they had this Market (store) on Lake Drive...where Mott's Spinning Shop was located at.

Perhaps in the early 1950's...they had the store built on Pontoon Road and moved down there and called their new place A&J Market and eventually sold out to Leroy's Market.

Andy & Joann (Jo-ann)still had their original place on Lake Drive...so they made a teen-age soda shop out of it.

Andy was one of the original owners of the small store on Lake Drive...and his brother Johnny was the other owner and they called their business the A&J store...and this is how the A&J (store/market) began their business.

Joanna died in the later part of 2016 and she was 98 years old at the time of her death.
