Jeff Leonard said it best, "St. Louis is a cow town." At least Kansas City can support two major sports franchises. The Cardinals are and will always be the one and only favorite team in St. Louis. Its a good baseball town. Not a good sports town. Although i have been a fan forever the Blues have been a good regular season team who seldom sniffs real playoff success. The fans support them because on a professional level they are the only game in town. Blues fans are much like the old Cubs fans, loyal as hell to a loser franchise.
