I tried calling about ten times the week of Thanksgiving and about five times this week. No answer. The Nameoki website said they were off on Monday, January 1, 2018, no mention of New Year's Eve in the "we will be closed on" list.
It appears once Halloween hits, every week is some kind of four day weekend week through January and it starts all over again come Memorial Day. Who really gets Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday off for Thanksgiving with pay?
Why doesn't the supervisor require someone to be there during the posted times? Is he there? Ever? Skeleton crew? No, it's a tax funded ghost office. Non-working full time paid employees, living the life! And people wonder why Nameoki Township is so cut throat at election time.
