Many times its comical to see politicians on the down low, trying to gain credit for an accomplishment, even plagiarizing themselves if need be, to have enough material on their resume for the next election cycle. Regarding Mr. Presswood and his insidious desire to steal the thunder of another simply because he has no sheets of metal of his own to shake.
I am sure that Mr. Adler, Director at MESD, appreciated and utilized the insight Mrs. Hawkins shared with him regarding the failures and historic issues our area has with drainage, as well as the other Commissioners on that Board. FYI Mr. Presswood, the public appreciated the communication shared with them by Mrs. Hawkins and also, the public understood what it said, we did not need you to explain it. The public very much appreciated what Mr. Adler and his Board of Commissioners have accomplished in just a matter of a few months, and we certainly appreciate our local leaders who went above and beyond for their communities.
