"I'm not one to slam a local business, but this really doesn't sit right with me. I have not been to "Jumpin Joy" because my friends told me of the strict two hour minimum jump time which is not plausible with a small toddler. But after reading these two seperate articles, I doubt I will ever go. Why would a person who is originally from our town,badmouth our town when they are opening their first business in another community?(Article on bottom)And When that business doesn't make it because they are not in compliance with safety issues to protect children, then they want to come back to our community (but still live elsewhere) and try to reap the benefits of doing business while still badmouthing our community as well as the community she just left?"Nothing to do in Granite City" "Didn't like growing up in a small town"...not that we don't want someone to invest in our community whether they live here or not...but couldn't you at least make it seem like there was better oppurtunities for you here,instead of making our city out to be a pitiful black hole that you've come to rescue? Does she really expect us to support her when she doesn't support us? Why can't we start appreciating the good instead of falling into negativity? A positive attitude towards the community that is happy to see you and support you, would really make me jump for joy.
