Don would not have abused our old equipment by working it harder than perhaps it should have been. Won't be able to do us any good at all if it's broken. He's also a pretty darned good mechanic to help get something repaired when it breaks. Charlie isn't.
The existence and knowledge of these and other drainage culverts sometimes remains hidden from each administration instead of being on a mapped list on the Township wall of issues that need to be directly and routinely dealt with. That points to yet another problem from Supervisor leadership.
Public information should be just that. There have been issues where Don had to dig up information on things that he should have been informed of upon taking over his position.
Instead, people "in the know", long time employees still paid on our dime, withheld crucial information to try and make him/them look bad.
But, Mel and Don called in the state and discovered things on their own before disaster struck for some of our residents--but others "in the know" would have happily watched those residents flood because "Don didn't know"...
Yep, these guys are on our side, all right. Sure they are.
