Your points of the extreme ones are valid. I think if a kid is defending himself or another, only the aggressor should be punished. I do understand that isn't the rule in District 9. As for the bullies and other idiots, school and education are a privilege, not a right, in my opinion. You don't want to be there, get out and make more room for the kids who do. And of course in my humble belief, bring back the paddle and eliminate some of the assclowns that behave the way they do just for the opportunity to be suspended. When I was in school (dark ages) our teachers used to pick out the real morons in the first week of school and light up their asses with a board. Behavior modification at it's finest.
