I'm sure most schools could simply designate an existing bathroom as gender neutral.

What then shall the magistrate do, when two conflicting genders need to use the facilities at the same time? You are basically proposing a boys room, girls room, and freak room. (thats what the kids will call it)

I think ignoring Dr. McHugh's research is a great idea. He's not the definitive voice on transgender issues. He also believes that homosexuality is a choice. He's the "go to" guy for conservatives to advance their own agendas.

GOTO, no. He is a bit conservative, but thats generally a good thing medicine. If his study, peer reviewed, sheds some statistical truth, (80% is a quite large reversal) maybe we should listen to the MD, over the PhD's that seem to advise giving kids quite powerful and dangerous meds.

There is no credible study that has ever been done that shows a reversal rate of 5%, in the case of being a gay adolescent, by simply doing nothing. The best option seems to be DON'T LISTEN TO THE SHRINK. Wait till you grow up, if you still feel that unfulfilled, then do something about it. 8y/o boys don't need to be thinking they can just cut off their hoo hoo dillies, and install a cha-cha, just because it feels right at the moment. If you don't give the kids the wrong sexes hormones, most of them don't change for good, and have better, more fulfilling lives.
