Well actually Selph started the problems with emerald meadows but was not annexed into pontoon beach till the hagnauer era and the property across the street was not yet developed and butted up against the golf course for easy annexation. The Selp administration(who I did not like) Annexed rapidly down maryville road.Ed has annexed nothing and even made a deal with pontoon mayor to not annex any of the township! No one runs as the decades of good ole boy politics as blocked anyone good. We had a chance with getting David Breeden in, but DS sparks F that up. Now all the good are like its to late and head to the hills(Eville, Glen, Ofallon or Missouri counties. Illinois is a mess from politics. Ed is a disaster and county of Madison is a joke and illinois governors have been terrible. I do have a positive outlook for Illinois though, with ousting Quin, Enyart and the Republicans taking over the house and senate. The 10.00 per hour is stupid ad all that will do is cut working staff and make your value meal double what it was. Some positive but the worst debt ever created by the worst president ever is going to make it tough.
