Mayor Ed came in like a whirlwind when he was first elected. But in the past four or five years, he's become complacent like all his predecessors. He figures he's a shoe in now for all future elections and he's flying under the radar and just signing the paycheck. Term limits should be a must. Unlimited mayoral terms is one of the things that started the death of this town. Let some fresh blood and fresh eyes, and a new Economic Developer give it a whirl. Because the current mayor and E.D. have already petered out. It's a contagious disease that all former mayors have succumbed to. Jon Ferry has worn out his welcome. No one cares about a bike path, they'd rather have new retail. And I think the news people did an excellent job of highlighting the businesses downtown.
