BINGO - I'd like to thank Helen Hawkins for all of her documented efforts to stop my multi-reservoir development. Pine Lake Phase I was just to clean up dump-site and improve water run-off. I explained this to Helen before I started upon advice form County Officials who warned me she could be trouble. She supported the idea until she realized she could get publicity. I probably should have named it Helen Hawkins Lake (she sent out flyer calling it Helen Hawkins Slough) and maybe she would not have called on the Feds. Phase II of Pine and Eagle Lake would have stored waters of 100 year event (per calculations by Ron Dieckmann, Sr, Hydologist at the St, Louis Corps)and removed my neighbors from AH Flood Zone.
