The worst thing about that annex was the locker room.
At least in my day, a good amount of cigarette smoke covered up an otherwise noxious environment. One day the smoke smelled a little more peppery.
Like I say, I hated PE. The cigarette smoke was the best smelling thing up there...it was the deodorizer. It was a lot more pleasant than spray deodorant and people who didn't take their PE shirts home to be washed.
