Nice article about it in the Post-Dispatch.

I recall how wretched that annex really was. It was okay for me, to do whatever needed in a high-schoolers biggest waste of the day, aka, PE. I hated PE..

But glad that area has some much needed rehabilitation.

I had a nameless coach my freshperson year.

It was his last year, or maybe the following year was. That guy could not speak clearly for anything. He would do roll call and his pronunciation of names was horrible. I did hear my last name, but it was only by realizing my place in the alphabet, then I knew when to listen a little more clearly.

The male PE coaches -- at least in my day... What a job to have. Check if they're dressed, let em play, and give em A's if they did those two things.

Strangely enough, I still didn't want their jobs.

But all this rambling and reminiscing...just to say..glad to hear when things improve for the students.

Athletics are now state of the art...so how is that readin', ritin' and 'rithmitic these days?
