I actually see what you're saying.
I do not agree with it. Topix is horrendous and GCG is a much more pleasant place.
However, I can see your point. While GCG will never be as bad as topix, there are times when people are, shall we say, not on their best behavior.
While we never get as extreme as topix, there have been instances of racism, bullying, slandering people, and even invititations to "settle the conversation personally'. and other things.
So yeah, it is always good for us to be careful not to turn into the people we say we are not like.
While I have never even been close to a physical dustup from a GCG conversation and never will be.. I know I am not innocent either.
But I think I understand what you are getting at Gary. If you say GCG is like Topix, you are wrong. But have people here been made to feel uncomfortable, or even felt compelled not to post anymore? Absolutely.
