this current thread about the tennis courts varies from outright accusation of racism to veiled accusations of racism.
tell me, is using logic racist?
logic tells, as well as observation tells me that ANYONE using the tennis courts or ball diamonds has rarely if EVER heckled other patrons of the park.
logic also, as well as observation tells, that people who used the old basketball courts were heckling the runners and making the courts unusable by RESIDENTS who PAY TAXES to the park district.
it is not racist to want to have a nice, clean park with responsible use of it, not to mention the ability of access by RESIDENTS of this city.
dont pull that stupid racist card just because you have no counter for the obvious, and are whining just to whine.
part of my taxes goes to the maintenance of the park district, and i completely agree with the SPIRIT of what they are doing, but I do concur that we need to have a camera or something...
there is no perfect solution, but this is the best one that makes EVERYONE show their park i.d...
