Daisy's Mom, Ugh, sometimes I'm a little TOO passionate about animals. I know that, and I try to tone it down or walk away when I realize I've gone overboard. Hopefully, people on GCG realize that. To say I'm an animal lover is probably an understatement. As hard as I try, I love animals more than most people. Animals just don't have the drama that you see in the human world. If they act vicious there is always a reason that you can back track, no matter the breed. Other than that, they just want to love on you, no matter what. I think that's why I love them so much. They are so non-judgemental!!! As hard as I try, time and time again, the animals show they are so much more worthy of love than humans. I have always believed, those who deserve the love the least, need it the most. I try to live by that, but with my life, it's so much easier to give my love to the animals. It's the easy way out, but at the same time, it's the only thing that's given me the strength to fight my fibromyalgia. Although, I have noticed, the animal lovers, are also the ones who are compassionate about people with issues. Maybe there is a connection there? I didn't have a good experience with the Granite City APA, but unless specifically asked, I would never speak bad about them. I truly hope there are people who are more dedicated to the animals total well being than what I saw. From what I've seen from you, I KNOW you have the best interests at heart. Even though I don't have the strength to fight the drama there, I'm glad there are people like you to stand up for the animals there. They really do deserve a chance at happiness.
