The gentlemen that are leasing Mingos will be opening a restaurant which is in keeping with the plan for that area. For months now, some on this board have been beating a dead horse about a liquor license for the pool hall. I'm sure it has been explained before that the Mayor of Granite City is the liquor commissioner. If he has denied a liquor license then his decision is based on several factors. So, no one on this board is going to be able to strong arm him into reversing that decision. So horseygirl why don't you take care of business at the beach and leave the decisions for our city to the people that WE elected.
