Typical day of this stay at home mom. 6:00 am get up Start breakfast, (no cold cereal here) Get the kids up bathed and dressed. One off to school. Two in the classroom and a full day of teaching. Make lunch and clean it up Paperwork Work from home, tons of paperwork. Doctor appointments DCFS appointments(for foster child) Soccer, softball, yoga…ect… Clean the house Make all the phone calls Make dinner Clean up dinner Music lessons Reading practice Laundry Shoping(food and household, nothing fun) Put it all away. Bedtime routine with kids. Water and check the garden/ greenhouse Pay bills and answer mail Check e-mail Walk the dogs Mend anything that needs mended sweep and mop all the floors take the days trash out. Last minute cleaning at the end of the day. Hopefully read or knit and go to bed. These last few months I have also added remodeling house. Please tell me how some people can think this is an easier option than leaving the house to go to work and sending my children to public school? It works for us and though it is hard work we do see a fair savings and a big difference in our children. So I would say it is all worth it.
