I complain more about social welfare programs, because I see them being misused (with my own eyes) much more frequently. Just today, I watched someone purchase a large redbull with a link card. I have sated repeatedly that I feel charity should take control of feeding people who are needy, and believe they would be more effective. That is my view on welfare. The short and sweet is get the government out it.

Even though social security is a ponzi scheme and will collapse within the next 30 years with out drastic reform, (like pushing the retirement age to 78) Unfortunately it's was a promise made by our government to 3+ generations of people, and the government should make good on that promise. I would like for myself, and other under the age of 30 or 40 to able to opt out.

While the military does use too much money, They have a constitutional base, and serve a necessity. The constitution does, in plain English, provide for the funding and control of a military by the US government. Protections have been written into the constitution to protect us from a "standing army" I see no real evidence that those provisions have been abused.

I don't see my views as radical, they are based on what I believe to be accurate reflections of this nations founders and the founding documents I have read, adapted only slightly for modern times. ie; The term "Air Force" appears nowhere in the constitution. The ability to control the sky from the possibility of enemy attack, is something the founders would have been for, should fighter jets have existed then. Unfortunately, they are much expensive for average people to maintain privately, facilitating the need for a "Air National Guard" in which citizen Airman can maintain property of the government, to used in case of need.

i am highlighting a disparity between your regard for the American people. ???? and my regard for ....
