ddddd, How pitiful you make it sound that public service workers have to fall in line with private sector workers (OMG The sky is falling). You are correct Walker offered tax breaks to companies that were willing to relocate to Wisconsin (OMG that would create jobs that pay taxes). The average public sector worker that is affected by this makes 70k a year, which is 15k more than the average private sector worker that is paying the taxes to support their a$$es, not to mention that the average private sector worker pays 100% of family health insurance and gets a 3-4% match on their 401k. Asking public sector employees in Wisconsin to contribute a 5.8% of their pay into their pensions (the national average for the private sector) is probably the very least the state's taxpayers should ask. Asking them to pay 12% of their health insurance costs (about half the national average for the private sector) is also a minimal demand. Restricting collective bargaining to wages only and putting the power to approve or deny into the hands of the public is a sound democratic move. Let those who pay the wages approve any increases, what could be more fair? The Tea party is satisfied, this is what we voted for. The rights of the tax payer over a special interest group, I only wish that we could hope to attain the same in Illinois, but with "CROOK County" (your Words) that will never happen and Wisconsin will win at our expense.
