i have known alot of teachers quit at about the 2 year mark. many teachers stay in the profession because they are pot committed - they already have the education and the training - so they do the job to get the check. but if you talk to them - they hate their job. it causes them much stress and they feel under-appreciated and under-paid. it is why i have said numerous times - maybe she should consider a new profession... problem with that philosophy... we have a nation-wide shortage of teachers. so at what point as a nation do we listen to our teachers? at what point do we stop blaming teachers for everything that goes wrong, and start thanking them for all the good they do? when do we start helping them raise our youth?
