3Dee, where does it stop? Your biggest arguements for getting rid of the death penalty are 1)it costs too much money and 2)it doesn't bring anyone back anyway. Life in prison isn't cheap so why not let them free? Afterall, it would be cheaper and incarceration will not bring anyone back. Better yet, why have a trial at all? We could then save a lot of money. You did mention a time or two that the death penalty was not a deterant to malicious crimes, I propose instead of getting rid of the death penalty, fix the system to work correctly so it WOULD be a deterant. Carry out the punishment quickly so it WOULDN'T cost so much money.
