And catch, btw, if you bring me a sound theory that involves the "poor" taking responsibility for themselves and their actions ... and understanding they have the right to 3 things.. "Life, Liberty, and the PURSUIT of happiness", not being GIVEN happiness (i.e. having big screens, nice cars, etc, without having to work for them because your basic necessities of life are given to you by the state), then I am all for it.
And don't mistake me for being a total "anti-middle class" (note I use quotations because anyone who is "middle class" in this country is "anti-middle class" because we dont want to pay for the freebies of others who refuse to work for it themselves), I see the corporations and large business gobbling up this country and I recognize it needs to be stopped.
I would gladly pay more money if we went back to mom and pop shops with good service, if that boosted local economies..
The answer isn't taxing folks, the answer is to reduce spending by educating people to be acccountable for their actions. This generation doesn't understand reprocussions..... and that is a scary thing...
