I reside in the neighborhood of Maryland Manor Apartment's. It seems that over the past couple of years the complex has been declining little by little. That complex was previously owned by a local doctor, who has since sold them to someone else. I'm not sure who the current ownership is under, but they have become not only relaxed on aesthetics, it seems they have started renting to a different class of people. I see police cars often in the complex, if that is any indication. This is the type of thing that starts neighborhood decline.
Over the summer the grass would get cut every few weeks and edging/weed-eating never seemed to happen. Sweeping or blowing off the cut grass would happen on occasion. I once watched a gentlemen blow grass into the street. Anyway, you get my point, I shutter to see the place declining.
I thought when they put a new sign up and new roofs on the buildings that maybe things were changing for the better. I hope they decide to make some changes for the better.
