That was hardly a ringing endorsement for bringing your dog to a event involving hundreds of people, jdg.
Look, folks...leave the dog at home during events like this. I know your pet is 'part of the family', but that doesn't flush when you're walking through a heavily populated scene like a parade or a carnival. No telling how your dog will react to brand new smells, or the controlled chaos of a parade crowd. You're a walking lawsuit waiting to happen.
Is it worth that risk? Leave the pooch at home.
Believe it or not, your pet won't die of loneliness or ostracism.
