Instead of losing their minds over the cuts and closures being made by DOGE, why can't they say let's take a good long hard look at the books, we may even agree with the cancellation of programs and contracts. But no, they are demonizing the folks who are exposing the ridiculous amounts of money coming out of USAID.

Marshall - I think the issue most on the left have, me included, is the method Musk and his "staff" are using with the blessing of Trump. They are going into these agencies and basically raiding and gutting things without any goal other than to cut spending without any justification other than Musk doesn't feel it's justified. These are programs and funds that have already been approved by Congress, both sides have created these programs. I think you are going to see a multitude of lawsuits that will only complicate things and delay any real savings. If there are any politicians that would not agree, as you said, to a fair, systematic, transparent review of these things, they are the problem and need to go.

To me, Trump and Team love the "shock and awe" of this. The people who are really being demonized are Federal employees.
