I see it as you said. It is not that Democrats and some of the Gop have a issue with spending cuts and review for waste. It is the way it is being done.

It is like a family deciding it needs to cut spending and just not buying any food for a month.
A better choice would be to stop eating out and using less meat and review other options.

Most of what Musk is doing is not legal and will end up with courts deciding and the is also unnecessary waste if money and resources.
