End of the monarchy in Nepal

The new parlement should vote today the end of the monarchy in Nepal putting an end to 239 years of the Shah Dynasty. King Gyanandra will be given 15 days to live the Royal Palace of Narayanhiti and should be allowed to live in his former residence where he lived before he ascended the throne in 2001.
