Link: Taliaferro-edited Fushimi genealogy
dear Hamish,
Am I correct in assuming that to page http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Temple/3953/
linked genealogies are Edited by Jeffrey Taliaferro?
Or, are they products of someone else?
What are sources of more detailed ancestral genealogies of Japanese monarchs, seen here in West? Is there some good published genealogy books in Japan about these? Compilations of good coverage?
Or is it more like, in order to have a detailed genealogy, one needs to get to read archives of IHA, or some temples?
Whose product is

?
In Taliaferro's page, there are links and attributions to (presumably analogously detailed) Arisugawa genealogy, but no such full genealogy is available there - links are broken.
Does such exist? in English
Are detailed genealogies of the Fujiwara, the Tokugawa, and at least most prominent other-clan daimyo lineages, published somewhere?
Is it a common problem in pre-modern Japanese nobility genealogies that identity/ information about correct biological mothers is scarcely available, and ancestral charts generally be devoid of those roots?
